The transition from preschool to kindergarten can be a time of excitement but it can also be a source of anxiety, if I may quote the wording on the Westchester Institute for Human Development (WIHD) calendar, which I may, I guess.
A workshop, presented by the Lower Hudson Early Childhood FACE Center, NYSED Office of Special Education (OSE) Partnership, helps participants to understand the transition process, be an active member of the transition team, understand the difference between services in CPSE and CSE, and understand the purpose of an IEP.
